RICH ENGLER LAUNCHES WEBITE AND MAKES APPEARANCE AT GUITAR EXHIBIT

Rich Engler, legendary concert promoter and music producer for over forty years, who has brought such superstars as Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and Bon Jovi to Pittsburgh has announced the launch of his own website. His website address is www.richengler.com.

The website features back stage photographs of performers that Engler has promoted and become friends with over the years as well as backstage passes along with news and video clips. You can also sample music tracks from Rich’s first band, The Grains of Sand, of which he was the drummer.

Also in the works is a book that Rich has been writing about his more than forty year career in the music business. He has recently signed with a major literary agent. Further information regarding his book will be posted on his website.

Rich will also be making an appearance at a Guitar Exhibit coming to the Carnegie Science Center called Guitar: “The Instrument That Rocked The World”. The Exhibit runs Saturday June 16th through Sunday September 30th. Rich’s appearances will take place on Saturday June 16th and Sunday June 17th.

His appearance on Sat June 16th is part of the Exhibit’s special “opening party” from 8pm – 11:30pm which also features an “all star acoustic jam” performance by Joe Grushecky, Billy Price, Rob James (The Clarks) and Rick Witkowski (BE Taylor Group). Rich’s appearance on Sunday June 17th is from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Rich will be displaying part of his vast personal guitar collection that includes autographed guitars from some of rocks biggest stars. He will also be answering questions and having discussion with patrons about many of the shows that he has promoted through the years.
